No one has played it yet, and to be honest that kind of prices aren't really expensive for an USA , UK living/WORKING person. It's still a lot cheaper than maintaining your own racing car and attending circuit at weekends.
And because all cars and tracks are priced you would end up with a variety of cars I think as people wouldn't really pay for all of em if they mostly use one or two. So you would get nice VARIETY races rather than everyone driving same car because it's the most suitable/faster rather than because of personal taste.
As as far as the video showed timing seems to be reasonbly correct so the physics aren't grand tourismo. And I think it mentions that they used nescar code for the online thing and as starting point. Tones of developers take some code for starting point and then almost completelly change it.
Stop whining, wait for the game and see what other people are gonna say about it. It should be very nice.
Yeah but LFS is full of cars and as far as specifications say none of em have V8. Which would be a nice addon for future? There's no point adding something that is already existing or altering it.
Making a wider range of choice or love/hate cars would be good.
I don't think that the article has anything to do with racing sims.
As it says
"Most actions in racing games imply a high risk of having an accident or severe crash in a highly realistic virtual road traffic environment. Driving actions in these games often include competitive and reckless driving, speeding and crashing into other cars or pedestrians, or performing risky stunts with the vehicle."
Sounds more like NFS, Test Drive Unlimited and other crap on the market.
If you're on a racing server in LFS (I mean proper one) How often do you actually see people crashing and not being careful?
Jatko... most of the people that use em are the ones who ain't capable of driving XRT or newbies that just joined LFS. Myself i grove the first car out of three for quite a while when I Joined LFS.
Eh can't be bothered argueing anymore. By the way what do you mean by '4 tracks?' There's only one which is Blackwood or two if you mean Blackwood GP and Rally one.
Yes 24 quid in some places aren't much won't argue about that but sometimes people have more important things to buy than pay for games also to the previous guy , no I don't have a stearing wheel I use my supa dupa mouse Or maybe it's my fault that I didn't spend my money on all kind of games when I worked and chose to get more important things.
Asking your parents to pay money for games? Wtf
It's a bid ODD .... demo racers get a new faster better car and you're all mad that they want LFS back as it was? :-) SOme more fire for you.
It is and most of the people actually get s2 eventually when they can.
It's easy to say for grown ups - uh it's not much only 24 quid! Buy it!WHat if the person hasn't got money or even if has a credit card how is he going to pay for it?
I never said the new car is bad, I love it but everyone misses XRT, yes we have three cars. No one uses the first two. Especialy XRG (or whatever it is called)
60 minute limit on demo? Great idea, for most newbies it takes a lot longer to figure out how to drive a car, especially youngsters so they wouldn't get the idea of how great the sim is and just forget it after the 'demo limit'
Taking XRT away from demo will lead to even more people cheating and playng LFS s2 in non public servers because they can't do that anymore legally.
I just love reading s2 driver posts, always happy when something bad happens to demo racers, aren't you just lovely? Ever the idea of people not being able to buy s2 came to your head not everyone lives in usa or uk.
Disagree with the guy above me, they wont leave LFS except will start cheating that's all - no one wins.
Hey people, I know that all of you hate Demo drivers.. well most of you but that's not he point.
Why do we get without a notice a fricking formula and get XRT taken away which in my opinion is one of the most loved cars in Demo but apparently now is a S1 car?
I like the new BMW but it's very easy to control it compared to XRT.
